Pilgrims gather at Mount Arafat to observe the Day of Arafah

In the Hajj sermon delivered from Masjid-e-Nimra on the Day of Arafah, Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi prayed for unity and improved conditions for Muslims worldwide. He emphasised that the pilgrimage is a platform for harmony and cooperation, urging worshippers to demonstrate excellent conduct, avoid political slogans, and abandon division and hatred. Following the sermon, pilgrims performed combined Zuhr and Asr prayers.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a message congratulating the Muslim community and urging them to uphold the values of unity and sacrifice. The prime minister said Pakistan prays for peace, security, and stability across the world, and that the spirit of love and cooperation seen during Hajj is key to collective progress.

He urged pilgrims to speak the truth, avoid quarrels, and maintain unity, concluding with prayers for the Muslim world. Following the sermon, pilgrims performed combined Zuhr and Asr prayers and will depart for Muzdalifah after sunset to spend the night under the open sky.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a message congratulating the Muslim Ummah on Hajj. He emphasized that the spirit of love, sacrifice, and mutual cooperation is the secret to national and collective prosperity, and said Pakistan prays for global peace, justice, and stability.
