Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Tehran on his second official visit within a single week, holding a high-level meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian for the second time.

Naqvi reportedly traveled with an “important message” for Iran’s senior leadership, aimed at de-escalation and the revival of negotiations amid escalating regional tensions. Discussions during the trip focused on the security situation and potential paths to reduce conflict.

During his latest visit, Naqvi also met with his Iranian counterpart, Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), General Ahmad Vahidi, to discuss matters of mutual interest.

This trip follows a visit just five days prior, during which the Interior Minister had also met with President Pezeshkian. His earlier engagements included discussions with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Baqer Qalibaf, highlighting a period of intense diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
