Islamabad hosts event celebrating 75 years of Pak-China relations
An event celebrating 75 years of Pak-China diplomatic relations and friendship was held in Islamabad. Federal Ministers addressed the event, including Attaullah Tarar and Ahsan Iqbal.

The Senate passed a unanimous resolution to mark the occasion, while Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the One-China policy. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also scheduled to visit China from May 24-26 to launch the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). During the visit, agreements and MoUs worth over $5 billion are expected to be signed.
