Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate meetings with Pakistan’s newly appointed ambassadors to Iran and Saudi Arabia. During the discussions, the deputy prime minister stressed the need to strengthen Pakistan’s historical, cultural, and fraternal ties with both nations. He called for expanding cooperation across all sectors with the two countries. In his meeting with the envoy to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Dar also emphasized the importance of protecting the interests of the large Pakistani community residing in the Kingdom.

The discussions were with the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and Iran to Pakistan. In the meeting with the Iranian envoy, both sides mutually agreed to enhance historical and cultural ties, and the meetings overall served to reaffirm Pakistan’s policy of fostering stronger relationships with its key regional partners. The role of the Pakistani community in the Kingdom was also formally appreciated.
