Drug Dealer Anmol ‘Pinky’ Causes Scene During Court Appearance

Last Updated: May 17, 2026

Karachi courts on Saturday granted further physical remand for alleged drug dealer Anmol, known as ‘Pinky’, in multiple cases. The Judicial Magistrate South extended her remand by two days in a murder case, while the Judicial Magistrate Central approved a remand extension until May 22.

Meanwhile, a fifth case against Pinky has surfaced in Lahore, dating back to 2018. According to a First Information Report (FIR) filed by Gajjarpura police, a drug dealer arrested at the time with 1100 grams of narcotics had named Anmol ‘Pinky’ as his supplier.

Pinky was arrested earlier this week in Karachi during a joint raid by police and a civilian intelligence agency. She faces around 10 different cases across the city’s South, Central, and Malir districts on charges including murder, drug possession, and possessing an unlicensed weapon. The legal proceedings are complex, as her status varies by case; in some she requires a first remand, a second in others, and in some, she is listed as an absconder.

Her court appearances have been dramatic, with Pinky alleging under heavy security that she is being tortured to provide a preferred statement. She insists the multiple cases against her are fabricated and claims she was arrested in Lahore 22 days before her first court appearance in Karachi.

Investigators report that her phone contained the numbers of approximately 800 clients and that financial transactions worth crores of rupees were conducted through her bank accounts. Courts in other districts have reserved their decisions on separate police requests for her physical remand.

Karachi courts on Saturday reserved their decisions on police requests for the physical remand of alleged drug dealer Anmol, also known as ‘Pinky’, who faces around 10 different cases. Magistrates in the city’s South, Central, and Malir districts are deliberating on the remand requests following her arrest.

Anmol was taken into custody earlier this week from her Karachi apartment during a joint raid by police and a civilian intelligence agency. The initial cases pertained to the possession of narcotics and an unlicensed weapon. However, Pinky has claimed she was arrested in Lahore 22 days before her first court appearance.

Her court appearances have been marked by high drama. Under heavy security, a stark contrast to a previous appearance reportedly involving VIP protocol, she alleged she was being tortured to provide a preferred statement. Pinky has insisted that the multiple cases against her, which include charges for murder and drugs, are fabricated. In one of the cases registered in the Central district, a Judicial Magistrate has already granted an extension of her physical remand until May 22.

The legal proceedings are complex, with a judge noting that Anmol’s status varies by case; in some she requires a first remand, a second in others, and in some, she is listed as an absconder. Investigators report that her phone contained the numbers of approximately 800 clients and that financial transactions worth crores of rupees were conducted through her bank accounts.

A Karachi court has granted the police’s request to extend the physical remand of alleged drug dealer Anmol, also known as ‘Pinky’, until May 22. The decision was announced by the Judicial Magistrate Central in connection with a case registered against her in the city’s Central district.

This follows an earlier dramatic court appearance where Pinky, under heavy security, alleged she was being tortured to provide a preferred statement and claimed the multiple cases against her, including for murder and drugs, were fabricated. This security was a stark contrast to her initial appearance, which reportedly involved VIP protocol.

Her legal situation remains complex, with multiple FIRs registered against her. During one hearing, a judge noted the varying nature of each case, stating that in some she required a first remand, a second in others, and in some she was listed as an absconder. Proceedings at the City Court were also temporarily halted due to a power outage.

Previously, a Special Magistrate in Malir had ordered her sent to jail on judicial remand in a separate matter. Investigators have reported that her phone contained the numbers of approximately 800 clients and that financial transactions worth crores of rupees were conducted through her accounts. Pinky has also claimed she was arrested from Lahore 22 days prior to her court appearance.

KARACHI: Alleged drug dealer Anmol, also known as ‘Pinky’, was presented in a Karachi city court under heavy security following the completion of her three-day physical remand. During the proceedings, she caused a dramatic scene, repeatedly removing a cloth covering her face while shouting that she was being tortured to give a preferred statement. Pinky also claimed that the numerous cases filed against her, including charges for murder and drugs, were false. This court appearance, marked by a heavy security presence, stood in contrast to her first, which reportedly involved VIP protocol. The court has reserved its decision on a police request to extend her physical remand for further investigation into 11 cases registered against her.
