Pakistan Fined for Slow Over-Rate Ahead of Second Bangladesh Test

The Pakistan men’s cricket team has been penalized for maintaining a slow over-rate during the first Test match against Bangladesh in Dhaka. The team was fined 40% of its match fee and docked two points from its World Test Championship tally as a result of the infraction. This penalty has caused Pakistan to drop to the seventh position on the points table. The development comes ahead of the second Test between the two sides, scheduled to begin in Sylhet.
