Authorities have escalated action in the case involving the alleged drug trafficker Anmol, placing her two former husbands and two brothers on a travel ban list. The four family members have been added to the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL). The move came as Karachi’s police chief clarified details of the initial arrest, stating that Anmol was taken into custody in Karachi on May 12, thereby refuting earlier reports of her capture in Lahore. The police chief also revealed that her network is believed to extend to Africa. During the ongoing investigation, authorities have recovered more cocaine and arrested two additional accomplices. In a parallel development, Lahore Police have reopened and begun re-investigating four previously dormant cases filed against her in the city.

Further investigation has revealed the suspect also operated under the aliases Pinky and Nargis Malika, while her network allegedly used women and ride-hailing drivers for distribution. The operation is said to involve African nationals based in Lahore. Following her arrest, the suspect’s husband and son were also implicated, reportedly continuing to run the network and even supplying drugs inside the jail.
