The forecast now includes the possibility of hail in some locations across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan on October 6 and 7. Additionally, parts of Balochistan, including Barkhan and Musakhel, may receive rain on the evening of October 6. Sindh, however, is expected to remain hot and dry.
Authorities have warned that the accompanying strong winds and potential hail could damage weak infrastructure and have advised farmers to plan their agricultural activities accordingly.
