Punjab announces matric results with new anti-cheating, concept-based reforms

While announcing the 9th and 10th-grade results, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat outlined major educational reforms. The government has implemented a strict anti-cheating policy, introduced on-screen marking, and rolled out a new concept-based syllabus for Grade 9 to move away from rote learning. The minister noted these changes contributed to a slight drop in the pass rate but are essential for producing more competent graduates.
