Pakistan signs $663M health deals with China at Karachi expo

Pakistan has finalized health sector agreements worth $663 million with Chinese companies, with the investment expected over the next 12 to 14 months. The announcement was made by Federal Minister Mustafa Kamal at the 23rd Health Asia Expo, which recently opened in Karachi. The deals were concluded during a business-to-business conference in Islamabad that involved 180 Chinese firms and over 300 Pakistani companies. The government has also highlighted recent reforms, including digitizing medical licensing and a new national vaccine policy, as key drivers for growth in the sector.
