The political fallout from the deadly PIMS hospital fire has continued, with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman accusing the country's major political parties of engaging in "mock fighting" over the tragedy. Speaking at a rally in Faisalabad, he alleged that the PPP, PML-N, and MQM were not sincere in their criticism.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has intensified its calls for accountability. PTI's Shaukat Ali Yousafzai called for a "major resignation" over the incident, while Barrister Gohar Khan raised the issue in the National Assembly. In response to the growing criticism, PML-N leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhry assured the public that those found responsible for the fire would face "exemplary punishment."
