On Friday, August 28, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hosted Saudi Arabia's Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, in Islamabad. They discussed strengthening economic and agricultural ties, building on the recent Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye. The Prime Minister announced that a Pakistani delegation of agricultural experts would soon visit Riyadh to advance the partnership.
