Security forces have killed five terrorists, including a key commander, in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sarkini and Chedgi areas of Panjgur district in Balochistan. The operation was conducted as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3. Four motorcycles, machine guns, heavy weapons, and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists, who were allegedly involved in robbery, extortion, kidnapping, and attacks targeting local traders and residents in Panjgur.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the security forces for the successful action, stating it thwarted nefarious designs and dealt a major blow to terrorist activities in the region. This operation follows another conducted a day earlier, where security forces killed 15 terrorists in multiple IBOs across Balochistan in Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai, and Nushki, also under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3.
