The meeting came after human rights group Amnesty International called on authorities to end what it described as three years of solitary confinement and denial of basic rights, including family visits, for the PTI founder. On the day of the meeting, other visitors, including PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, were reportedly denied access to the jail.
