Government to Exempt Wheat Imports From All Taxes and Duties

Amid reports of dwindling wheat reserves in the provinces, the federal government has decided to take action. A plan has been formulated to import 1 million metric tons of wheat to ensure a stable supply across the country. To facilitate this, a committee has been established under the Deputy Prime Minister to oversee the import process.
