Anti-Encroachment Team Attacked in Karachi’s Surjani

Karachi's district administration has launched extensive anti-encroachment operations across various parts of the city, including Saddar Town, to clear illegal structures and reclaim public spaces. These efforts have seen stalls, pushcarts, and cabins removed at Empress Market and 13 hotels sealed on Saddar Dawood Pota Road. The operations are part of a broader initiative against land mafia encroachments, with roadside clearings from Numaish to Guru Mandir and on Alamgir Road, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, and Model Colony Liaquat Ali Road. The Commissioner Karachi has instructed all Deputy Commissioners to address traffic obstacles. Recently, an anti-encroachment team was attacked in Surjani, Karachi.
