PTI to Launch Nationwide Movement on August 5, Marks Three Years of Khan’s Imprisonment

PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja stated that the movement will include public meetings, demonstrations, and a long march. The party also announced that it would seek opinions from Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas for finalizing protest plans. Separately, the PTI rejected media reports suggesting it had decided to end its boycott of parliamentary standing committees. PTI Chief Whip in the National Assembly, Malik Amir, confirmed that the boycott remains in effect, initiated on the instructions of Imran Khan, and any decision to alter it would require consultation with the founding chairman.
