Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari stated that any abusive language against Kashmiris or the Pakistan Army would not be tolerated. He emphasized that if Kashmiris face hardship, it would deeply affect Pakistanis. Bhutto-Zardari declared the Pakistan Army as a “red line,” highlighting its role in defeating India during Marka-i-Haq last year.
Addressing the situation in Azad Kashmir, he described it as “very concerning” over the past month, noting that it is causing distress to both Kashmiris and Pakistanis. He warned that prolonged unrest would harm the Kashmir cause and Pakistan’s international standing.
Bhutto-Zardari also commented on the global geopolitical landscape, mentioning “big changes” and “conspiracies” underway. He asserted the significant role of Pakistan and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in these developments. He cited Pakistan’s responses to Israel’s conspiracies against Iran, India’s attacks, and the actions against terrorists sent by India via Afghanistan to Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He added that Pakistan is prepared to counter India’s Prime Minister if he weaponizes water.
He further stressed that the death of a peaceful citizen cannot be an acceptable consequence of political disagreement, and the lives of police and security officials must also be protected. Bhutto-Zardari affirmed the unquestionable right of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to raise political, economic, and constitutional issues peacefully, while also stating that peaceful citizens must not engage in violence or hate speech, nor should they be indiscriminately branded as terrorists, anti-Pakistan, or foreign agents merely for demanding their rights.
