Shalimar Express coach derails near Khanewal, passengers safe

According to initial reports, all passengers are safe. The incident has caused disruptions to train services in the area.
Pakistan Railways has dispatched a relief train to the site of the derailment.

Railway officials have confirmed that train services at Khanewal Junction have resumed following repair work. A bogie of the Shalimar Express, travelling from Lahore to Karachi, had derailed at the junction on Sunday afternoon, temporarily suspending rail traffic. No casualties or damage were reported in the incident.
