SBP Governor: Efforts Underway to Control Deficit, Inflation; Remittances to Hit $44 Billion

The Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has stated that the government is working to control the country’s fiscal deficit and inflation.

In a separate statement, the governor also said that remittances from overseas Pakistanis are expected to reach $44 billion.
