Sharjeel Memon, Rana Qasim Noon agree to boost cooperation on Kashmir

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon met with Federal Minister and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Affairs, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, in Karachi to discuss matters of mutual interest.

The discussion focused on the current situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Kashmir issue, and national unity. According to a statement, both leaders condemned the ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

It was agreed that cooperation between the Sindh government and the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir would be strengthened to highlight the issue at national and international levels. Mr. Memon stated that the Kashmir issue is a cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and affirmed that the Sindh government would continue its efforts to expose Indian actions in IIOJK. At the end of the meeting, Minister Memon presented a traditional Sindhi Lungi and Topi to Minister Noon.
