Security Sources Allege JAAC Acted on ‘Indian Agenda’ in AJK

Security sources have alleged that the leadership of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir was acting in line with an Indian agenda, according to a briefing provided to media influencers on Friday.

An official cited by the sources claimed that India is attempting to create instability in Pakistan and the wider region to divert attention from its own domestic challenges, such as growing intolerance and religious extremism. The official accused India’s ruling leadership of promoting expansionist ambitions through the concept of “Akhand Bharat” and alleged that its armed forces have become influenced by the political agenda of the ruling party.

The security sources also conveyed that India’s democratic institutions, including freedom of expression, were under increasing state control, describing the country as moving toward a “police state.” The briefing highlighted concerns over the treatment of Muslims and other religious minorities in India, stating they faced systemic discrimination. It was also claimed that India has used allegations against Pakistan and “false flag” operations to divert international attention from its internal issues.
