Further details have emerged regarding the roof collapse in Lahore’s Baghbanpura area on Thursday. The deceased child has been identified by doctors at Services Hospital as 12-year-old Abu Bakr.

Four injured individuals are also receiving treatment at the same hospital. They have been identified as Waseem, 45, Faiz, 38, Shakeel, 38, and Nadeem, 35.

According to Rescue 1122, the roof of the third floor of the under-construction house collapsed. Rescue officials also indicated that another person was believed to be still buried under the rubble.

Following the incident, the school owner, Nadia Rizwan, and four other individuals have been arrested.
