Former US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States is negotiating with Iran from a “powerful position,” claiming Washington has “badly defeated” Tehran. Speaking at the White House on June 26, Trump asserted that Iran will not be permitted to acquire nuclear weapons and has reportedly agreed to this condition.

He further stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and that Iran will become a new market for American farmers. According to the former president, the US plans to use Iran’s frozen funds to purchase American soybeans, corn, and wheat for the Iranian people.
