Sargodha police on Tuesday announced the arrest of four suspects in connection with the murder of a seven-year-old girl whose body was discovered in a shop.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the prime suspect allegedly attempted to rape the girl before killing her. The report also suggests the crime was committed at the behest of three other individuals. Police confirmed the arrest of the prime suspect, who owns the shop where the body was found, along with others implicated in the case. Sargodha District Police Officer (DPO) Sohaib Ashraf also mentioned that a fifth suspect has been taken into custody, though further details were not provided.
