In an interview, US President Donald Trump described a new agreement with Iran as a major diplomatic success, likening it to Tehran’s “unconditional surrender.” He claimed to possess unlimited powers.
The president stated the deal was aimed at preventing a major global economic crisis and has resulted in the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for shipping. A 60-day period has also been established for the resumption of nuclear negotiations, though Trump acknowledged that several sensitive issues remain unresolved and will be addressed in future talks.
