Pakistani Pairs Advance to Asian Doubles Squash Championship Quarter-Finals

Pakistan has secured its place in the quarter-finals of the Asian Doubles Squash Championship, with both of the country’s teams registering impressive victories in the group stage matches in Sarawak, Malaysia.

The duo of Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal continued their strong run, first defeating India’s Rahul Baitha and Suraj Kumar in a straight 2-0 victory to secure a place in the knockout stage. They followed this by beating Singapore’s Samuel Quek Wei Yi and Justin Yap 2-0, dominating the contest with scores of 11-1 and 11-8.

In another match, the Pakistani pair of Muhammad Hamza Khan and Muhammad Asim Khan also advanced to the quarter-finals after overcoming their opponents from Hong Kong 2-0.

With the victories, both Pakistani teams have booked their spots in the last eight of the tournament. The quarter-final matches are scheduled to be played on Friday.
