PPP wins seats in Gilgit-Baltistan election

In the Gilgit-Baltistan Election 2026, the PPP won seats, securing the GBA-9 seat and the GBA-12 seat by a huge margin, marking a major election victory. Early election results showed the PPP leading with 8 seats. Bilawal Bhutto reacted to the PPP victory in the Gilgit Baltistan Elections. Following the poll results, PTI held a heated emergency press conference, demanding a re-election. There was a split in PTI, and the Chief Minister’s attempt failed.
