PPP Leads in Multiple Gilgit-Baltistan Election Constituencies

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is leading in multiple constituencies in the Gilgit-Baltistan Elections 2026. PPP candidates take an early lead in GBA-19, GBA-4, GBA-5, and GBA-7, including in all polling stations in GB-7 Skardu 1 in unofficial results. The PPP candidate Imran Nadeem has taken an early lead in GBA-12, and the party leads in the GB-5 Nagar II vote count. In GBA-1 Gilgit, the PPP also holds an early lead, with PML-N trailing behind. The PPP has secured victory in GBA-9, where the MWM fell short. An unofficial result announced for GBA-21 Ghizer shows the PPP taking the lead. However, a PPP candidate is also reported to be trailing in GBA-4. In GBA-2 Gilgit, Jamil Ahmad leads while Hafeezur Rehman trails. The PPP is ahead on multiple seats in the Gilgit-Baltistan Election Results.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate takes an early lead in GBA-11. PML-N also leads in GBA-5 Hunza and in GBA-1 Gilgit, as well as in GB-2 Gilgit 2 in unofficial results.

Independent candidates have secured victories in GB 06 and GB 15, based on results from 5 and 1 polling stations respectively. An independent candidate leads in GB-8 Skardu 2 in unofficial results and also leads at Polling Station 28 in GBA-9 Skardu-III.

The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) candidate leads the race in GBA-15 and takes an early lead in GBA-14.

In GBA-10 Skardu 4, the PTI-backed MWM leads early. PTI has secured a major victory in Skardu-II, for which results have been announced; however, an independent candidate is also reported to be leading in GB-8 Skardu 2.

Constituency GBA-12 Shigar election results are out and updates have been received. Unofficial results have also been received for GBA-5, GBA-7, and GBA-8. Updates for GBA-9 Skardu 3 show 6 of 54 polling stations counted in unofficial results for 2026. For GBA-1 Gilgit, results from 10 out of 80 polling stations have been received. Gilgit Baltistan Election Unofficial Results are available for GB 06 and GB 15.
