Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Friday, the final business day of the week, with the per-tola rate dropping by Rs 1,469 to Rs 467,816. The price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 1,323 to settle at Rs 401,012.

This trend mirrored the international market, where the price per ounce declined by $14.68 to $4,453.81. Experts suggest the downward trend may continue due to inflation fears sparked by recent US-Iran tensions. Silver prices also fell, with the per-tola rate down by Rs 67 to Rs 7,730 and the 10-gram rate decreasing by Rs 61 to Rs 6,623.
