Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has demanded that the PTI founder be transferred from Adiala Jail to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment. Speaking in Rawalpindi, Afridi stated that the treatment should be conducted in the presence of his family and personal physician.

Afridi also dismissed rumors of a forward bloc in the KP assembly as propaganda intended to divert attention from the federal budget. He reaffirmed his authority, stating only the PTI founder could remove him as chief minister, and added that the KP government would present a people-friendly budget focusing on health, education, and agriculture.
